Located inside Piccadilly. Food was ok. Very cultured. The pricing was awesome though! We got like 6 different dishes and it was only $40. We were stuffed! Our bartender/waitress was really cool. Small inside seating but large outdoor patio area:) Modern decor is nice. Doesn't feel like you are in Fresno. I suggest you come try this place out:)
Nice ambiance, attentive staff. Overall delicious tapas. We had a party of 3 and ended up ordering 7 dishes and 1 dessert. Ordered croquettes, which were delicious. Patatas braves, empanadas, and sospicho also good. Though popular with other reviews, did not enjoy the Moroccan tacos as much. Favorite dishes for us were the ribeye, lamb meatballs, and the churros dessert. Highly recommend giving this place a try.
Mochuelo offers an authentic culinary experience. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for a taste of authentic tapas, I would recommend Mochuelo for its authentic cuisine, inviting ambiance, reasonable prices, and exceptional service.
Food here was really good, but honestly the service made the whole thing. The hostess Addy was super nice and helpful. Very welcoming from the beginning and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the whole time. Our waiter was great too, he was on it and gave us some really solid suggestions after asking a few questions I ended up getting the flatbread based on his rec and it was seriously amazing. The portions on some of the other stuff were a little on the small side, but I guess that's just how tapas works. The drinks are pretty legit too. have had the same bartender each time I come in and his drinks are always made perfect. Drink menu has so many options, maybe too many. But that's a good problem. Overall, would recommend. good food and great service from the host to the bar. Thank you and good job to Addu, the waiters, and the rest of the staff.
Stumbled into this gem while staying at the Hotel Piccadilly in Fresno, CA. It is a tapas style restaurant. The tapas we had was great and decent portions for two people. The cocktails were very creative and tasty (not skimpy either). Our server Constance was on top of everything, very friendly. There is dining inside and outside. When we dined on a Friday night, the inside was very loud from the people talking. Outside was much more our style, quiet and open-aird. Only downside, it is adjacent to a well-traveled street and the traffic occasionally was loud.
So pleasantly surprised at this beautiful restaurant inside the Piccadilly Hotel. We had already eaten up the street but after looking at the menu I wish we had found this first!!! We had a cocktail before bed and it was wonderful. The bartenders were great!! Amanda and the gentleman with her that night were super hospitable. The decor is gorgeous and relaxing. Highly recommend!!
Just went here for my friend's birthday. We had the Brussel Sprouts, Waygu Sliders and some Empanadas. All were really good, but the Brussel Sprouts were the best. Served with Bleu cheese, figs and bacon, they were really yummy! We also had the special birthday cocktail and a Castaway Cay. Both were delicious and refreshing. Our server was so attentive and had great suggestions. They even gave my friend a complimentary dessert because it was her birthday. We have been several times and we are always pleased with the service and cocktails.
Executive Chef Megan runs a beautiful restaurant with very talented staff. Her menu is so creative and exciting! We were a group of six, and the shareable bites were just right for everyone to enjoy generously portioned items. The timing was impeccable, too! Just as we'd finish one dish, another was being passed around the table. We must've ordered half of everything on the menu, no exaggeration! Each dish was equally as unique and delicious as the next, including the not-to-be-missed desserts! Truly, there were no misses! Not one! That sentiment was shared by everyone in our group, and we're a tough crowd, foodwise. I am a visual eater, and the anticipation of tasting the food was ampped up by the beautiful presentation. I loved the dishware, too; no boring, same-ol, sterile white! There was variety, which let each menu item shine. If found, I'd actually buy some for my home collection, such as the deep blue rectangular platters and sauce bowls. Thank you, Chef Megan, for making Fresno's Mochuelo my new favorite restaurant! The only problem ... I live in L.A.! Can you say " road trip!"
